To experience learning in a real life context enables children to see the relevance of classroom activities.

In the younger age groups this will involve days out visiting areas in the locality, giving students the chance to build closer bonds with their classmates, experience new environments and enjoy a day away from the classroom. This enables them to connect learning to the context of their immediate community and build conceptual bridges between ideas and their understanding. Currently excursions include trips to the fire station, Anduki Airfied, BSP Headquarters and Jerudong Park.

As the children move into Teraja the aim is to build their independence, self reliance and enjoyment of facing new challenges. Two to Five night expeditions both in Borneo and surrounding countries enable our children to engage in activities that encourage them to better understand their place in the community and develop an openness to being independent. Due to the current global pandemic, school residentials haven't been possible. We will constantly review this situation in line with Ministry directives.

As many of us will recall from our own childhood, these trips tend to be the most memorable moments of our time in school.
